Privacy

Your files never leave this device

Metadata stripping runs entirely in your browser. Photos, PDFs, videos and Office files you open in DropMeta are processed in this tab. DropMeta does not upload those files to our servers for cleaning, and there is no account required to use the tools.

Cleaned downloads are produced locally on your device. If a strip cannot finish safely (for example leftover location data on an image, or Catalog XMP that cannot be removed from a PDF), the app blocks the download rather than handing you a “mostly clean” file.

Site analytics (Google Analytics 4)

The website uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-4YDP44T02M to understand which pages are viewed. Automatic enhanced measurement page views are disabled in our config (`send_page_view: false`). Google signals and ad personalization signals are turned off (`allow_google_signals: false`, `allow_ad_personalization_signals: false`).

SPA page views we send include only page_path, page_location (canonical URL), and page_title. We do not send filenames, file contents, metadata fields, or search-query strings from the tools. Google Analytics is operated by Google under its own terms; see Google’s documentation for how GA4 processes measurement data.

What this page does not claim

This is a factual product privacy summary for a client-side tool — not legal advice, and not a jurisdiction-specific privacy policy. Third-party directory badges and outbound links in the footer lead to other sites with their own practices.
